I don’t want to be a Social butterfly.

Being overtly friendly,

interacting and bonding systematically,

always trying to be jolly and goody goody.

But, doesn’t it all sound too phony?

I would rather make a fewer bonds,

that would last a lifetime.

With no expectations or demands,

just want to give those relations some personal time.

What is the point of all PDAs, fake laughs and holding hands,

if you don’t actually give those relationships a dime?

Just fluttering into someone’s life ever so lightly,

And moving on to your next oh so quickly!

I can never be a Social butterfly.

Formerly a Software professional, I have been a homemaker for a while. My life revolves around my two daughters. Having started writing only recently, I just discovered what I have been missing all along in my otherwise almost-perfect life. I want to create postive content inspiring minds across all age groups.

    1. Haha…Thanks! After years of having no social media accounts, I finally had one during this lockdown, but I am not that active. I am more a people person, where I wish to spend more time with them on a personal level. What is the use of having 1000 friends in FB with not being able to be in touch with even 5 of them, directly?
