Sheena couldn’t contain her glee and the sense of pride, as she turned the placard, ‘We are open’, in her newly acquired weekend shop. She had her own set of struggles, her own demons to face.

Growing up in an orphanage, where she had always felt unwanted, to dropping out of college to marry someone, whom she believed would finally make her feel at home!

How naive she was, to have trusted someone so blindly that she dared to gamble with her own future, the entire episode turned out be her worst nightmare and scarred her for life.

Those humiliating days are behind her now, as she stood tall looking at her ambitious baby, ‘The Weekend Shop- Sheena’s boutique’, showcasing the accessories she had created. Soon, she intend to expand her business, employing girls like her, uplifting their lives. This opportunity had indeed opened up new avenues for her.
