Today is definitely not my day.

Wanting to make the best impression and to show her, I had been serious about us all along, had planned a fun day for us.

We started playing badminton. I let her win many sets, though she sucked at the game. Remember, making an impression! Just then the stupid cork got stuck in the tree branch. She wanted to continue playing, didn’t want to break her winning streak. Huh!

I took my shoes off, one by one, took many shots at the cork. Instead, my shoes got stuck on a higher branch. Yes, definitely not my day!

With nothing left to retrieve either the cork or my shoes, she gave me her heels, big heartedly. As I took my shots, the cork and the shoes fell down, hitting her right on the face. Tending to her face, I noticed that her shoe was still perched up there! Not again!
