As I waited in the deserted waiting lounge, I can’t help but wonder how it would have been, if I had got a chance to fly just a month back? I could have been at my mother’s side, when she breathed her last. Come to think of it, had I reached there in time, will she be still breathing, having got courage from my presence?
I would never forgive this pandemic, for I couldn’t fulfil my mother’s dying wish, my life is now full of ‘whatifs’.

The very apt and poignant story, a little gem. When I grab a few minutes I will write to you privately about the ‘safe haven’, as I am an etymologist by profession.
I am going to publish in 2-3 weeks a post you will find interesting: ‘INDIA -Empire of the Spirit’.
