Is it just me or does anyone of you have felt that the Moon is growing abnormally in size, month after every month?
I have always felt some kind of connection with the Moon right from my childhood. It all started with my mother feeding me in our big garden when I was one, pointing out and singing me rhymes on the Moon. It was just a regular act, but that sealed the deal for us. I have forever felt the mystic affinity and indescribable connect with the white beauty.
So, it is natural of me to notice any slight change in its features. Of late, I have the feeling of being beckoned. By whom, that I am not so sure. When I mentioned this, no one believed me; they laughed at me instead. I chose to ignore them, bought me a telescope and was happily involved with my personal research.
Today happened to be the full moon day and finishing off all my pending work, I propped up the telescope on the terrace. As I was observing the night sky, I suddenly saw the full moon missing from my line of sight. I turned back in the nick of time to see the moon, which has now turned suspiciously red, descending on my terrace. Mesmerized by its beauty, I forgot to even blink.
Just when I heard my mom’s footsteps in the pathway leading up to my terrace, I felt being sucked and teleported to the other side of the moon, my shrieks subdued with every panic breathe I took.
As I floated in there, I saw many bodies floating around me, their eyes eagerly taking in their new inmate.

That is what Wallace and Gromit found out when they visited the moon’s light side. There were no zombies anywhere. Mind you, I love your take on tonight’s moon. I love looking at the full moon too.

I only saw the ones you have published, with a post about suddenly being overwhelmed by the need to draw, It has to be spiritual sense it is an illustration for Ramayan. I think 3 will be enough because it is going to be such a huge post.

Just to add, apart from Big Thank You, do you remember the zombies-like, the departed sinful souls, floating outside the window of Scrooge’s bedroom, after the visit from Marley, in Christmas Caroll? This is what I thought happened to this poor man in your story.
