#210. MY DEAR IMITATOR

“Sweety, did you see my mobile?”

“Chweety, did you chee my mobile?”

“Sweet, Mamma is serious!”

“Chweet, Mamma cheerious”

I controlled the burst of laughter by biting my lips inwardly, seeing my little one trying to imitate me. This is an age old technique used to irritate the other person.

Looking back, there are countless times, when I had gotten on my mamma’s nerves by following her all around the house doing what she did, exactly the way she did it.

I glanced lovingly at my personal flower girl whose arrival had just made my life lively. All of a sudden, she had managed to scatter millions of flower petals on my pathway, just by her mere presence. I hugged my angel and got hugged back.

Imitate

Published by Ramya Vivek

Formerly a Software professional, I have been a homemaker for a while. My life revolves around my two daughters. Having started writing only recently, I just discovered what I have been missing all along in my otherwise almost-perfect life. I want to create postive content inspiring minds across all age groups.
