#211. GREENER PASTURES

I am a successful corporate professional, visiting my hometown after years.

Getting off my SUV, I did a double take glancing at the place that was once lush with greenery looking like a graveyard now.

I looked questioningly at my dad who gave me a wry smile, “If everyone of you from this generation migrate to the city looking for greener pastures, what do you expect? A hundred acre of vegetation?”

The words couldn’t have been delivered with more force, if they’d been accompanied by a swift kick to this gut.

This time, I decided to stay back for good.

I want to create postive content inspiring minds across all age groups.
