#268. ANYTHING FOR A FEW ‘LIKES’- Photo Fiction

“Shh…keep quiet”,his mom mumbled.

‘What’s with her?’, the mallard thought as she pushed him behind the tree almost forcefully.

That’s when he saw a group of people visiting their place.

‘Oh God! Visitors again! And I see that willful guide coming up front’, he thought.

“But mom, don’t you worry. They might be selfie enthusiasts. Yet, they won’t like to dirty themselves by coming close to this swamp, or would they….?”

His voice trailed off, as he saw the guide waving at them and a couple of people started walking towards them, unperturbed by the slimy swamp, flashing their mobile phones out!

Now, don’t ask me how would a drake know about selfies and mobile phones!๐Ÿ˜‹ My imagination might have gone into overdrive here๐Ÿ™‚.

Having started writing only recently, I just discovered what I have been missing all along in my otherwise almost-perfect life. I want to create postive content inspiring minds across all age groups.
