Reena’s Exploration Challenge #159 for the week is quite an interesting one. I always have this question at the back of my mind, ‘How will I be remembered?’
Through this post, I might walk you through my life on a more personal level, because the topic sounded more personal.
Imagine a slice of your life, or the whole personality framed on the wall. What would you like to see there?
Well, there’s definitely a wide gap of probably five feet between how I want to see my personality framed on the wall versus how my family perceive me as an individual.
I think myself to be a simple human without much expectations. Give me love anyday over any materialistic thing (sweets might be an exception๐), you’d have me tied around your little finger.
This frame here would rightly be me, if I were to make one for myself, as I live by this slogan.
If you have read my blogs, you would know by now that my family is my sane place which drives me to the verge of insanity sometimes. So, I asked my better-half the same question Reena had posted, he told me about the frame that would describe me better.๐
That he meant to say if I was hiding my sweet interior with a hard exterior or that I have started resembling jackfruit in shape would remain an unsolved mystery forever. Ahem..moving over, I asked my daughters the same question.
My younger one: Mumma! Who’s that person we saw in circus I was asking you about, the other day?
My heart soared. Oh my! Is she going to call me the juggler as she has seen me multitasking, many a times.
I beamed with pride, yet asked her to check with her sister and give me a single answer- together my two daughters took five minutes to discuss and showed me this picture in iPad. They said that this would perfectly describe me. My younger one handed me the iPad, gave me a little peck and ran off. I checked the picture my daughters had chosen for me,
Yeah, the ringmaster. Should I cry or laugh?
Well I had a good laugh!!! I feel like asking my kids too the same question.. but I need to be prepared mentally for whatever the answers are!
This post is so well written … I loved the line on family being the sane place capable of driving you to insanity… beautifully crafted Ramya …

Thank you so much dear๐
Yeah. Prepare yourself, before asking the question. You wouldn’t know what answer you might be getting. Beware!๐

Excellent post and your take on such a complex issue, as ‘slices’ of one’s life, will considerably differ. I will be happy with your kind assessment of me, Ramya, – “you are a good soul”, Thank you.

A very engaging post, and it is good to see your whole family get engaged with the idea ๐ I would advise you to laugh. The validation you got shows different perspectives, but adds up to how you describe yourself.
