Let’s not fall for those traps

‘Am I good enough?’

‘Will people laugh?’

‘Am I correct?’

‘Will I be called uptight?’

There are so many barriers,

we set for ourselves.

The moment we fall for these traps,

Our growth stops.

If we don’t set us free

from expectations, we’d start feeling at sea.

Breaking the barrier,

Letting our ambitions to be our carrier,

Let us start uplifting ourselves.

Cleansing ourselves, sans any fears,

Let us switch gears.

Lowering our guard, let’s march forward,

for a new dawn is awaiting us.

Formerly a Software professional, I have been a homemaker for a while. My life revolves around my two daughters. Having started writing only recently, I just discovered what I have been missing all along in my otherwise almost-perfect life. I want to create postive content inspiring minds across all age groups.
