When love ends..

As the last kiss we shared still linger,
the ring he proposed with,still adorning my finger,
what really went wrong,I could only wonder,
for I was only left with those thoughts to ponder.

He’d just left me heartbroken and griefstricken
the end of our love saga was so sudden,
that it felt as if he stood behind that thin veil
shredding my tender heart,placing me in peril.

As the winter night whispered those moments
that I so wish to have forgotten,
sitting there with just my thoughts giving me company,
I felt my soul being twisted
with pain,I wish never existed.
