What do you see?

‘It looks like an elephant to me!’

‘No ways, it looks like three men are holding hands, standing side by side’.

‘Are you mad? It looks like Goddess Durga is sitting on a lion, giving us her radiant smile and blessing.’

To each, his/her own.

You might not see the same things that I see,

you might not feel the same things that I do,

you might not even believe in things that I blindly believe.

Yet, don’t let the differences dominate you and stop you from respecting others’ thoughts and beliefs.

Let us respectfully agree to disagree!

For Reena’s Exploration Challenge : Prompt #154

Published by Ramya Vivek

Formerly a Software professional, I have been a homemaker for a while. My life revolves around my two daughters. Having started writing only recently, I just discovered what I have been missing all along in my otherwise almost-perfect life. I want to create postive content inspiring minds across all age groups.

  1. Here we go again, Ramya, you wrote word for word what I think, write, and believe, Thank you. I have just one personal question as it puzzles me – where did you learn to write and obviously speak the English language to such a high standard?

    1. Your words humble me, Joanna. I really don’t know how to answer this question. I see so many writers here, who have very good vocabulary and write things which I don’t understand in a single read. So, I would never consider me good with the language, but I am a good learner. I try learning things everyday, that could make me a better person.
